Notes for FRED HENRY CAMP: Fred was born in Geneva, NE and wasthe only Camp to remain in Geneva. Fred had musical talent andplayed trumpet and bugle in various Geneva bands. For a shorttime he had his own band. He learned the barber trade in theBeals and Wilkins shop and later ran his own barber shop. In1898 he sold the shop and joined his father who was running aphotographic business on 8th and G Streets. He sold the businessand started into the mercantile business. He was on the CityCouncil and the school board. He also was the director of thecounty fair. During his final years he was the night clerk atthe Geneva Hotel.
