Samanthia Camp died intestate in Wise County in the month of March 1918 (and is buried Bridgeport, TX.) She was married twice. Her second marriage was to Bailey Sparks. No children were born to their marriage.He preceded her. Nine children were born to her, they being as follows:1.) SAM W. CAMP, whose wife is LILLIE CAMP, they live inThornton, Texas2.) JOHN I. (IRVING) CAMP, whose wife is SUSAN E. (ETTA STCLAIR) CAMP; they reside at Lipan, Texas.3.) JACK CAMP, whose wife is JESSIE LEE (ST CLAIR) CAMP. They reside at 802 N. E. First Street, Mineral Wells, Tx.4.) DELLIA SANDEFUR, a widow, whose husband is now deceased.She is a person of unsound mind and resides in Palo Pinto, Tx.(Husband Clay Sandford)5.) JODIE SPARKS, wife of S. W. (WALTER) SPARKS, whose address is Route 5, Box 414, Waco, Tex.6.) HENRY CAMP, who died intestate at Abilene, Texas on or about 15th day of October, 1940, left his wife RUTHY JANE CAMP, whose address is Route 3, Box 17A, Yuma, Arizona, and eight childrenas follows:a.) RUTH SMITH, whose husband is RUBE SMITH and whose address is Yuma , Arizona.e.) MANCIE ELIZABETH FUNK, wife of G. R. FUNK. They reside at Wichita Falls, Texas.f.) MINNIE REEVES, whose husband is F. W. REEVES, and whose address Route 1, Knox City, Texas.g.) BERNIE CAMP, whose address is Route 3, Box 17A, Yuma,Arizona.h.) A son HENRY CAMP, JR. who died in 1918, when he was 12years of age without having been married and without issue7.) EMMA ST CLAIR, whose husband was GEORGE ST CLAIR. PHILLIPS to: Affidavit Heirs of M. C. PHILLIPS Before me, the undersigned authority on this day personally appeared J. P. Phillips and N. B. Crenshaw who have been by me duly sworn on their oaths depose and say: The affiant J. P. Phillips is a grandson of M. C. Phillips and both affiants have made careful investigation to supplement their knowledge concerning the heirs of M. C. Phillips, and both affiants say that the facts herein stated are true and correct. M. C. Phillips was Grantee in deed from P. S. Pullig et aux dated September 14, 1893, covering 60.54 acres of land out of the Northeast part of the South _ of Survey 3, Block 7, T. & P. Ry. Co. Survey, Abstract 256 in Stephens County, Texas, said deed being of record in Vol 52, page 45 of the Deed Records of said county. Said M. C. Phillips died in Stephens County, Texas, on November 24, 1907. He was married twice. The name of the wife to whom he was first married is unknown. She died long prior to the year 1893. His second wife is named Catherine. She resides in Stephens County Texas. She was his wife when he purchased the above described land. Nine children were born to the marriage of M. C. She was married only once, said marriage to JOBE COOPER, who died intestate November 29, 192 at Hatfield, Arkansas. He was married only once. Six children were born of said marriage, as follows: 1.) MATT WAGNER, a widow, whose husband was J. J. WAGNER. She resides at Hamlin, Texas. 2. J. ELISHA COOPER, whose wife is AMY COOPER. They reside at Melrose, New Mexico. 3. J. D. COOPER. Whose wife is LAURA COOPER, their address is Route 1, Pierce City, Missouri. 4. EMMA DONATHAN, whose husband is M. L. DONTHAN, and whose address is Box 502, Purcell, Oklahoma 5. OLLIE RIGISTER, a widow, whose husband was E. K. REGISTER. She resides at 827 Lear Street, Dallas, Texas 6. BETTIE WILCOX, whose husband is J. W. WILCOX and whose address is Route 1, Poteau, Oklahoma. C.) ORRIE ROGERS, who died intestate in Erath County, Texas on May 11, 1885. Her husband was BUCK ROGERS, who is now deceased. She married only the one time and three children were born to her to-wit: 1.) G. T. ROGERS, whose wife is DORA ROGERS. They reside on Route 2, Stephenville, Texas. 2.) WILLIE ROGERS, a boy, who died intestate on November 20, 1926, leaving a widow GERTRUDE ROGERS and four children. His widow is now GERTRUDE HALLMARK, wife of A. S. HALLMARK, Normandy, Texas. Said WILLIE ROGERS was married only one time and his four children are: a.) L. A. ROGERS of Cutbert, Texas b.) W. C. ROGERS of Sweetwater, Texas c.) C. O. ROGERS of Pecos, Texas. d.) VIOLA WOMACK, whose husband is R. C. WOMACK and who reside at Cutbert, Texas 3.) KATIE ST CLAIR, who died intestate in Erath, County, in the year 1906, leaving her husband J. F. ST CLAIR of Morton, Texas. She was married only the one time and four children were born to her to-wit: a.) JAMES ST CLAIR of Morton, Texas b.) IRVING ST CLAIR of Muleshoe, Texas. c.) IRA STAVENHAGEN, whose husband is JOHNNIE STAVENHAGEN of Lelia Lake, Texas 4.) OVA DYER, whose husband is T. B. DYER. They reside at Hart, Texas. D.) MARY DYER, who was married twice. Her first marriage was to one CRAVEY. Her second marriage was to FRANK DYER. Her interest in the land aforesaid was conveyed to J. D. PHILLIPS, SR. in deed dated March 22, 1919. E.) LIZZIE DIXON, whose husband was JESSE DIXON. Both are now deceased. LIZZIE DIXON conveyed her interest in the above land to J. D. PHILLIPS, SR. while she was a widow, on March 22, 1919. F.) NANNIE MC LELAND, whose husband was FRANK MC LELAND. She conveyed her interest in the above described land to J. D. PHILLIPS, SR. in deed dated March 22, 1919. G.) DOLLIE DYER, who died at Sanderson, Texas on or about the month of June 1944. She was married twice during her lifetime. Her first marriage was to DOUG RAY and no children were born to her of that marriage. Her second husband was ALLEN B. DYER, who predeceased her. No children were born of said marriage. She died intestate. She left all of her property inclusive of the above described land to an adopted son, RUSSELL B. DYER, by will probated in Terrell County Texas. H.) JOHN D. PHILLIPS, who died intestate on January 28, 1944, while a resident of Stephens County, Texas. He was married only once, that marriage being MARY E. PHILLIPS, who resides with affiant J. P. PHILLIPS in Stephens County Texas. Seven children were born to said marriage as follows: 1.) ROSIE LINDSEY, wife of WILL LINDSEY, they reside at Chickasaha, Oklahoma. 2.) J. P. PHILLIPS, a single man, who resides at Breckenridge, Texas. 3.) JACK PHILLIPS, whose wife is HALLIE PHILLIPS. They reside at _____ California. 4.) JESSE PHILLIPS, whose wife is BESSIE PHILLIPS. They reside at El Centro, California. 5.) G. B. PHILLIPS, whose wife is ANNIE PHILLIPS. They live in Stephens County Texas. 6.) JEWEL BOOTH, whose husband is S. C. BOOTH. They reside in Stephens County Texas. 7.) JODIE C. PHILLIPS, a daughter who died unmarried without issue when she was about 14 years of age. I.) TOM PHILLIPS, who was killed in the Civil War, and died intestate leaving only one heir, a son, T. FRANK PHILLIPS. The facts relating to the heirs of T. FRANK PHILLIPS are shown in a separated affidavit made by other persons, which is hereby referred to. The above and foregoing are all the children of M. C. PHILLIPS, deceased, and CATHERINE PHILLIPS, deceased, and the heirs and the heirs of their descendants of the person above shown, with the exception that the heirs of MARY DYER, LIZZIE DIXON and ANNIE MC LELAND are not shown because they conveyed their interests in said land to J.
