Notes for ENOS CAMP: Enos Camp was the son of Lt. Samuel and Mary Camp; he was baptized 20 May 1688 at Milford, CT. He died there on 20 June 1768. Enos married Martha Baldwin in Milfordon 28 Sept 1710; she died 14 Sept 1740. Enos then married Elizabeth Fowler Clark, widow of Nathan Clark on 19 June 1744 atMilford, CT. Several sources for Baldwin Family name confirm data about Enos and Martha, including dates. His will dated 26 Feb 1768 and proved 6 July 1768 named his eldest son Enos of New Milford; sons Israel, Jonah, and Abel; daughter Martha, wife of Nathaniel Camp; daughter Elizabeth wife of Jesse Smith to whom he gave additional consideration of "her living with me afterher first husband and my wife died." He also mentioned hisGrandchildren Isaac and Job Camp. The inventory of his estate was presented by Abel Camp and amounted to over 510 pounds,including some personaltry in New Milford. New Haven Probate Records. Enos is documented as the son of Lt. Samuel Camp in"Camp, Jones and Related Families" by Nell Jones Carter, 1977and by John F. Camp, Jr. in his "The Ancestory and Descendants of Frederick Tracy Camp and his Wife Marion Fee".
